Before before before, after after after after after. I had rhinoplasty with Director Choi Tae-jun. I have a round and rather flat-looking face, so when I take photos, I was concerned that I looked even rounder and chubbier. I wanted a more defined impression and a more refined, urban look! Even in my 20s, I was scared about having a knife put to my face, so I had never even considered rhinoplasty, but I ended up getting rhinoplasty only after reaching my mid-30s.
I found out about Director Choi Tae-jun through my husband’s introduction, and visited with the mindset of just getting a consultation first. It was my first consultation, so I didn’t really know what was what, but the counseling manager explained everything carefully from beginning to end, and Director Choi Tae-jun personally consulted with me and recommended the nose I wanted and the surgical method that would suit my face. He said that for my nose, silicone did not have to be inserted, but because I had a hump, osteotomy would be needed, and since my nose was on the smaller side, my septal cartilage was also small, so there would be a limit to how much it could be raised. However, since I did not want to use donated rib cartilage or costal cartilage, he said he would take care of it and make it as high as possible, so I trusted him and decided to proceed with surgery right away. I was swayed by the director saying he would make it look natural, like it had always been a pretty nose^^
A few days later, on the day of surgery, I was very nervous, but thanks to the skilled surgical preparation by the director and nurses, my nerves eased.
After surgery, aside from the discomfort of nasal congestion, there was no painful suffering, and if I had any questions, I could ask right away through KakaoTalk, so I felt reassured. Also, whenever I went to the hospital, the director continuously checked the shape and progress, which was even better.
Now that it is almost two months, just as the director said during the consultation, it turned out naturally and beautifully, like it had always been a pretty nose! When people who don’t know I had surgery see me, they react with things like, ‘Something got prettier,’ ‘Your features look more defined,’ ‘Your eyes look bigger,’ and ‘Your facial features stand out because you lost weight.’
If I had known it would be like this, I regret not doing it sooner.
