After<Before After>Review of having lower blepharoplasty and posterior-lower canthoplasty at the same time
I’m someone who always kept lower blepharoplasty in my heart because the area under my eyes was hollow and dark before surgery My consultation at Tobi was the first one, but based on my experience going around for consultations elsewhere for other surgeries, I felt like I’d be fine doing it here without going to other clinics! So I put down the deposit right away. Since it was my first consultation, I asked a lot of different things, and the director answered kindly. I asked because I was concerned about the hollow under-eye area, and I trusted him when he said that part could be checked after surgery and addressed then if needed.
I had lower blepharoplasty + non-incisional posterior-lower canthoplasty! The swelling peaked on days 3–4, and after that it gradually went down. I had surgery on Friday and went to work on Monday, and there was no difficulty with daily life at all.
Now at one week, most of the swelling has gone down, and the under-eye area has improved to some extent, so I’m satisfied. I think the posterior-lower canthoplasty also lowered the outer corners naturally. However, under my eyes, there is still the original pigmentation and the left side is still slightly hollow. Since my eyes didn’t originally have much fat, I was told I may need fat grafting later if necessary. There is still a bit of residual swelling, but I’m satisfied.
