18 years ago, my double-eyelid surgery turned out so well that even when I told people I had it done, they wouldn’t believe me. At the time, I had it done at Choi x in Sinsa-dong. It was actually really expensive, but I don’t know what kind of luck I had.. I happened to go in just for a consultation, and the doctor’s situation (needing photos for research materials) matched my situation, so I had the surgery at an unbelievably low price. And after 18 years passed, I guess my eyes started drooping because I got older.. To be honest, I hadn’t realized it myself.
Because I wanted to get rhinoplasty, every hospital I went to for a consultation said my eyes were serious and that my ptosis was very severe. Six places told me that, so after thinking and thinking about it, I had double-eyelid revision surgery and an eyebrow lift.
Um.... but people kept saying my eyes had become way too round and wide, and that my previous vibe was gone.. I was just living without thinking much about it, but one day I took a photo and my eyes really looked like I was glaring(?)... I had it done with the buried suture method, so I wondered if that was why my eyes looked so intense, but I guess it was because I had the eyebrow lift done together. But the eyebrow lift was done so naturally that it barely shows, so it’s kind of awkward to complain about it...
After spending a year with my eyes looking so wide open like that, they are gradually becoming less wide-eyed.. I miss my old eyes, but... I’m getting older, so I’m trying to accept it as something that can’t be helped.
My eyes are on the long side too... I guess if you do double-eyelid surgery and an eyebrow lift together, you can end up with rabbit eyes...
