I went for a consultation, half suspicious and half unsure, intending to do Collagen Touch only on certain areas (manager & doctor) They said there was a 3D analysis, but there was nothing like that, and the consultation was just them looking with their eyes. Without an accurate diagnosis, they said I needed more than 5 cc. I seemed to have nodules in certain areas, but they said people like that also all leave looking pretty. This was also just speculation, and I couldn’t know for sure. They only said I would become much prettier if I did it.
They said they would give me a discount because I had visited before, but every other customer was just paying that same amount, and there was no other merit.
Conclusion: I don’t recommend it. In the end, what they said was that I would need to do it once more later. This was when I still had swelling, but they immediately gave an additional diagnosis. The cost of one session was already the same as surgery, yet there was no prior notice that I would ultimately need to do it again, and there was absolutely no detailed explanation or opinion from the doctor. If I had to do it again, I either wouldn’t have done it at all, or even if the interval was short, I would have replaced it with an easy procedure with no downtime and a cheaper price for the cost.
In the pre-consultation, for everything I asked, there was almost no systematic analysis or convincing explanation, and it was not much different from a factory-style clinic.
Only after I decided on the procedure and got onto the procedure bed did it feel like they finally looked carefully. Only then did they say it did seem like there were nodules in certain areas, and only then did they talk about disadvantages or what could go wrong. If there were disadvantages and it might not go well, they should have told me in advance so I could think it over and make a decision while taking that into account, but they said that while I was on the procedure bed and the procedure was underway, so I was extremely flustered. They even said as soon as they saw me that this needed to be done together with another treatment. If that was the case, I would have done that treatment first and then proceeded with Collagen Touch, or something like that. I really wonder why I had a face-to-face consultation with the director at all, and I don’t think it’s a small-scale place, so I strongly wonder why the consultation was so careless. It even felt like they judged without looking at the whole face and proceeded without considering facial balance at all.
I strongly felt like I had been baited, and since it is a costly procedure, I would have taken into account the parts I needed to consider, but from the procedure bed onward I was genuinely scared and upset. Even now, when I think about that time, I get angry and sad enough to cry. I just wonder if I was played by marketing tactics..
They even additionally treated areas other than the parts I had wanted during the procedure. They said it was because there was some amount left, but if so, proceeding with a smaller amount from the start would have been enough. They only kept saying it starts from 5 cc because that is the amount that makes money, and that they were giving me a big discount. Proceeding without giving an estimate tailored to the face strongly makes the consumer feel baited. They really said it absolutely starts from 5 cc. There was no explanation at all to give reasons or help me understand. Even when I asked the manager, I only heard a mechanical answer: “Only from 5 cc is possible.”
The bruising and swelling were severe, and even after the swelling went down, certain areas protruded in a bulging way, so the stress is no joke. Saying there are no side effects seems to mean there is also no way to handle it if a problem occurs.
For reference, even the ordinary-person procedures that appear on YouTube are family members of staff/managers there, so please be sure to keep that in mind before proceeding. (I knew as soon as I saw their faces at the desk.)
For someone, it may really suit them well and have an effect, but for that amount of money, I truly would have chosen a mainstream and safe procedure, or rather surgery. I think things become mainstream because that much stability and response are guaranteed. I realized that has very great value. The face is also really important, so I get stressed every time I see it.. but with the economy difficult too, I’m writing this with a public-interest mindset, hoping you save your hard-earned money and get the procedure optimized for you. I wanted a definite effect, so I’ve mostly tried almost all of the expensive procedures, but personally, this is the decision I regret the most in terms of effect for the price and how they responded.
