I just suddenly got the urge and ended up booking same-day consults all the way through RBRA;;; lol I'm just someone who wants double eyelids and nothing else ㅇㅇ
1. KL Just like in the reviews, the doctor was extremely kind and it felt like a neighborhood ENT clinic. The consultation manager also felt like a warm mom type... First I tried out an in-out and out line with buried sutures, but the in-out was almost at the level of a subtle inner double eyelid, and the out line on my right eye loosened really fast ㅇㅇ They recommended an incision, so I was told the procedure couldn't be done here
Consultation fee X Cost unknown
2. ORJ: It's one floor below KL, but I just walked in as a walk-in. So the wait was pretty long, about 30 minutes? They have a very smooth, flowing consultation style, so the atmosphere was comfortable First, they said I had ptosis. Only 60% of my eye is visible, and they recommended ptosis correction and inner canthoplasty, but I said I wouldn't do it. They checked all three line types: in-out, out, and in-line. I said I thought I might go with an in-to-in-out line, but honestly the line itself didn't feel especially pretty. Definitely, ORJ tends to set the line higher than KL. They recommended quick buried sutures. Other places all said only incision was possible, so I was confused when they said buried sutures were possible. They did say quick buried sutures don't loosen... but I kept wondering if the plan was to do buried sutures first and see what happens if I need revision later?
Consultation fee X, no sedation anesthesia Cost: quick buried sutures, 1 million won in cash
3. RBRA: I also suddenly barged in as a walk-in here, so I had to wait a lot, about 30-40 minutes. I wore glasses, and they asked if I would keep wearing them, and this was the first time someone shaped the line while I had my glasses on, so it felt new and good. Here they didn't draw multiple lines, just one, as an in-out. But the line was the most, most, most satisfying one. It was really pretty! They didn't bring up ptosis correction at all, only mentioned inner canthoplasty. Because I have some thickness to the skin and my line loosens immediately even when they set it for me, they recommended an incision. When I asked whether incision scars still don't show these days, they said that depends on the person, and in a dry, cynical way said things like you need to avoid drinking and smoking~ That said, the consultation felt a bit awkward. I got the sense that I would need to come prepared with a lot of questions myself...
Consultation fee 10,000 won, sedation anesthesia O, swelling laser 1 session Incision cost: 1.5 million won
5. NSH: I made a same-day booking and went. This was the first place that said the skin over my eyelids is very thick ㅇㅇ If the line is set too high, it will definitely become sausage eyes, and it can only be a subtle inner double eyelid... They drew only a subtle inner double eyelid line. They said in-out wouldn't be possible either. Then they had me press on my forehead and do an eye-opening test, and said the ptosis is very severe and that I use strong force to open my eyes with my eyes themselves. So if I were to have surgery here, ptosis correction would be absolutely necessary For now, they said the line would turn out just as drawn... Since I didn't have much to ask and stayed quiet, they didn't say much either. No motivation...22 Here too, if you want to ask the doctor questions, you probably need to prepare a lot yourself. After the doctor consultation ended, when I clearly showed my resistance by telling the manager that I didn't want ptosis correction, she asked if it was because of the cost... and then had me tell her which clinics I had visited, and said none of them overlapped with their clinic ㅇㅇ (I have no idea what that meant) But according to the consultation manager, she said she strongly pursues a very natural look
Consultation fee X, sedation anesthesia O, swelling laser 3 sessions Ptosis correction + incision + fat removal: 2.97 million won, and with photo-provided discount it was 2.2 million won..
7. GYJ: When I went in, it felt like a cafe...? sort of vibe.... As soon as I entered, they took photos first and explained things while looking at them together. At a glance, they said I had severe protruding eyes and dry eye syndrome (yes, that's right ㅁzawoyo...) and then showed me photos of their surgical results while talking. They showed me a photo from day 5 and there was basically no swelling at all, which was honestly amazing They said there are no in-out, in-line, or out-line categories, and that they operate according to what suits your eyes. So they only drew one line for me too, as a subtle inner double eyelid... (sigh) If the skin is thick, even a slightly higher line can become sausage eyes, so they said it has to be a subtle inner double eyelid And they absolutely told me not to do ptosis correction. They said I open my eyes well and my eye-opening strength is fine (^^) Since my eyes are already protruding and prone to dry eye, they clearly told me ptosis correction could make the dryness worse, so that part was good... But they kept talking about inner canthoplasty Since cosmetic surgery is for self-satisfaction, they said they would do an incision method that minimizes scarring, which is probably why they also mentioned that incision surgery won't absolutely loosen either ㅇㅇ It felt conservative and natural, similar to KL Also, the consultation manager was around my age, so that felt friendly and nice...
Consultation fee 10,000 won, AS period 1 year They do surgery twice a day, no swelling laser Cost: incision 2.0 million, inner canthoplasty 700,000
Honestly, I'm torn too. I don't know if the subtle inner double eyelid is the right choice RBRA's line is appealing, though........ I hope this helps!!
