Before<before getting it>After<day of procedure>After<one week after procedure>After orthodontic treatment, my curled-in upper lip and long philtrum were complexes of mine, so I got lip filler for the first time a week ago!
They say when you get it for the first time, any filler disappears quickly, so I just got an affordable domestic filler.
The doctor asked what style I wanted and seemed to try to reflect it as much as possible.
It was nice because she did it delicately while checking in between. She placed the injections quite densely, so it was good but also not easy..^^
I think I had anesthetic cream on for about 10 minutes, and compared to what I was worried about? it didn't hurt that much The upper lip definitely hurt more than the lower lip. I think it hurt about twice as much as jaw Botox
When I first came out after getting it done, I thought it looked too thick, and thought, I'm doomed, everyone at work will notice.. but when I got home and looked, the swollen state was exactly pretty.
Now it's been a week, and it has definitely gone down a bit compared to the beginning, but there's still an appropriate amount left. When I touch it, there is still a slightly numb/tingly feeling.
I'm planning to get it regularly from now on. It's my first time getting filler, but the cost-effectiveness seems excellent. I was like, this much change for this amount of money?
Since it was my first time, I asked for it conservatively (?) and naturally, but looking at the before-and-after photos, I can still feel the change! My friends said when they saw me that it looked natural and not obvious, but when I showed them the before photo, they said there is a difference.
If this state holds and I get a retouch, and it becomes slightly fuller, I think it'll be just right! At the retouch, I'm going to try getting it a bit more glamorous
