-One-director clinic -Aftercare for 3 years -They said they check progress the day after surgery, on day 7, at 3 weeks, and at 6 months.
I had double eyelid surgery 7 years ago, but it has almost completely come undone, and the line has just dropped down to the mucous membrane. But thinking about it now,,, the director back then also looked at me very roughly, and wouldn’t let me even bring up canthoplasty, so I thought my eyes were small and hopeless and went ahead with the surgery. (Very short horizontal length, totally small clam-like eyes)
What I wanted was lateral lower canthoplasty + double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, but the director said medial epicanthoplasty was essential more than anything else. Especially with my current eyes, if only the outer corners are opened, I already don’t have enough white showing in the front, and if there is more white only in the back, it would look like strabismus, they said. (They said it would look like pseudo-strabismus) They also showed me the line under my eyes? or should I say the wrinkle made by the muscle, and said it is all connected, but because a hook shape was left from medial epicanthoplasty, that needs to be removed for the eyes to look more open. So in the end, they recommended incisional double eyelid surgery + lateral lower canthoplasty (lowering the outer eye corners) + medial epicanthoplasty. I really liked it...... I thought my eyes were hopeless, so just having hope that they could get even a little bigger made me so happy I could cry..... And they gave me hope, saying my eyes could become much bigger than now if I had surgery
They said they would try to give me the earliest possible surgery date, and there was no pressure to pay a deposit. The consultant was really pretty and kind, but at the end she asked which other places I was planning to visit, so I answered honestly, but I wondered why she asked that,,, And today, one week after the consultation, the consultant texted me asking if I had decided. I said I’m still thinking.
I really, really want to do it here, but there are some parts that feel a bit unsettling, so I’m debating.
1. In this community, someone commented that they had it done at ㅇㄹ, so I clicked through and looked, and they said they had lagophthalmos at one month. I don’t know how they are now. 2. There aren’t many reviews on Babitalk, and I saw one review saying they didn’t like it because the line was set too high. 3. The Babitalk review photos themselves don’t look that pretty haha Maybe the consultant is bad at Photoshop They’re too realistic
But the director has good experience, and first of all, it seems like there are quite a lot of canthoplasty reviews, and they seem really good at canthoplasty, and they matched my needs so well.... I don’t know what to do, sigh Tomorrow I have appointments booked at ㅇㅎㅅ and ㅇㅇㅋㅌ, and the more I look at ㅇㅇㅋㅌ reviews, the prettier they are, but the Photoshop is way too obvious,, the line is pretty, but it’s too low..... it feels like I’d worry it might come undone But the director has been doing almost only eye surgery for 20 years, so they seemed completely trustworthy...... If it were you, would you do it at ㅇㄹ...? I’m seriously torn
