Before<Before surgery>After<1 week>After<2 weeks>After<1 month>After<1 month>After<1 month>After<2 months>After<2 months>After<Before surgery - 2 weeks - 2 months>Hello everyone! I’m going to write a review now that it has been over 3 months since I had rhinoplasty at a clinic. As you can tell from my pre-op nose, it was not an exceptionally unattractive nose, but unlike my eyes and mouth, which had a relatively refreshing look, only my nose was blunt, and from the side it had a strongly curved impression.
Naturally, I came to hate showing my nose in photos to an extreme degree.. and even when people around me just talked about noses, my self-esteem would drop sharply.. Honestly, with rhinoplasty, you can’t avoid thinking about side effects or how to recover after surgery. I definitely had a period when I hesitated because of these things too, so I lived by relying on Hiko thread lifting.. but I was not very satisfied and my nasal tip did not get higher either, so while looking at rhinoplasty reviews one by one every day, my desire to change to that kind of refined nose shape grew. I ended up thinking that if I was going to do it anyway, I should research properly and get surgery.
Before visiting clinics, my firm preference was that I wanted a ★refined and feminine image from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip★, so when looking at reviews, I excluded places that only made noses look too natural. I also was not really drawn to newly opened hospitals or places with few reviews. Then the reviews from one clinic kept staying in my mind, so I booked a consultation, but even getting an appointment there was not easy.. At first I wondered if I should just go somewhere else, but I thought there must be a reason so many people seek it out, so I waited and had the consultation. Looking back now, I think I did really well to wait then.
I visited 3 to 4 places including this one, but this was the only place that carefully looked at the design after a CT scan. The director personally explained what methods there were to raise the nasal tip and why my current nose did not give a feminine impression, so it made sense to me, and at the same time I strongly thought, ah, I want to do it soon. Still, I thought I should consider carefully, so I left without making a reservation, but even after visiting other places, the design they planned here was the one I liked the most, so in the end I had surgery here.
I normally pay a lot of attention to my appearance, and since I was getting rhinoplasty, I wanted to keep a day-by-day record of how my nose changed. When I had the splint on, of course there was nothing to see, so I did not take photos, and I think I took them here and there whenever I remembered. If anyone is planning rhinoplasty, try taking photos too! Seeing the changes week by week myself was fascinating, and it made me feel even more that I did well getting the surgery.
In the early stage after surgery, having the splint on was a bit hard, but after that, it was fascinating because the changes in my nose shape were clearly visible. It really felt completely different from when I had Hiko, especially the raised nasal tip.. For anyone whose nasal tip droops lower than the nasal dorsum like mine, don’t do things like Hiko or filler and look into surgery first.. This is truly from my own experience, but the Hiko effect disappears quickly, and eventually you end up, like me, looking into surgery even while having it removed If I could go back to the past, I think I would not do Hiko and would go straight to surgery.
Until the 2-month mark, I still had some minor swelling left, but now even that is almost settling down! People around me keep complimenting me, saying it does not look obviously surgical and that I have changed in a feminine way.. I feel good..:) Since they made the semi-straight line that was not too low exactly the way I wanted, I think my satisfaction inevitably has to be higher.
I hope everyone also finds a hospital that matches their taste well first, and I hope everyone looking into rhinoplasty succeeds!:)
