One month ago, I had nose surgery at a clinic in Seomyeon using septal cartilage for the nasal bridge and nasal tip. After the nose surgery, the starting point of the nasal bridge was too high (starting near the eyebrows), and even though I’m male, the columella also came out long, making my nose look longer. So at 3 weeks post-op, I consulted the doctor, but the only answer I got back was the obvious one: it’s because of swelling, wait at least 3 months. It has now been one month and one week, and I can clearly see that the nasal bridge has become thinner and the nasal tip has also become thinner, but the starting point of the nasal bridge still comes down from beside the eyebrow, so I’m wondering whether it will really come down even with time. Consulting with the surgeon who operated on me would be the most accurate, but I feel like even if I go, they’ll obviously just say it’s swelling, so I’m leaving this post out of frustration. Does the starting point of the nose also come down over time?
