Director ㅊㅈㅇ said there was only one doctor for noses, that the doctor was good at surgery and had been doing it for a long time, so I should trust them and do it.
During the consultation, I was surprised by the large discounts. It was cheaper than other places, and the price went down from the 5 million won range to the 2 million won range. In the consultation, they said they would do lateral and medial osteotomy, correct what seemed like a hump, lower the nasal bridge while making it slimmer as I requested, and since I wanted support for the nasal tip/columella, they said they would build the nasal column with septal cartilage. During the consultation, they talked in a somewhat specific way. I thought that, for a consultant, she seemed to know a lot. So the request for a deposit felt strange. She only said things that sounded trustworthy. And the doctor’s consultation explained the osteotomy and said only exactly what was necessary. But it was extremely short, and after saying he would do his best and that it would go well, he left quickly. He seemed busy. I wondered if it might be a nose factory.
They also scheduled the surgery date quickly. I liked that they did it quickly. I thought maybe it was some kind of consideration. On the day, after a long wait, I met the doctor. He said it would proceed as planned, but it seemed like he did not actually know in detail how he would handle my nose among all these different patients. Honestly, I was anxious. I wondered, “They’re not separately asking me about the shape I want or anything?”
Surgery started. As soon as I went in, I had sedation anesthesia and remember nothing.. I didn’t even see the doctor and never exchanged a single word with him. As expected, the surgery was a total failure (subjective opinion).. The lateral and medial nasal bone osteotomy was not done, and because the existing silicone was removed, my nasal bridge became noticeably lower. To be exact, they only put septal cartilage in the nasal tip, slightly shaved the hump, and removed the silicone. Literally, I paid a lot of money to go back to my previous nose. In the doctor consultation, I said that my nose could become lower and look strange (thick), so if he saw during surgery that silicone was needed, he should put it in. But without any of that, they just performed the surgery exactly as the consultant had written in the consultation plan. The surgery time seemed to be a little over 1 hour, and no one knows whether more than 30 minutes of that was waiting time. They said aftercare revision was free for 1 year, guaranteed for 3 years, and anesthesia fee would be 500,000 won, but the consultant kept saying it was swelling, that I had to wait and see, and that it was still too early to know. This is not the shape I wanted, and if it was going to be like this, there was no point in paying for it. These days, it is truly not the kind of shape from places said to do dramatic noses or places said to do natural noses. They just performed a surgery that reverted me back to before rhinoplasty. For reference, no osteotomy was done at all (subjective opinion) lol..
As for the nose shape, because they removed the silicone without osteotomy, the nasal bridge is bulky, and the nasal tip is built up with septal cartilage, so it feels hard and like a foreign body. From the front, my nose looks like that of someone from Southeast Asia, and from a 45-degree angle, it looks like a hump.
