It was after more than 3 months that eye discomfort was minimized and daily life no longer had major inconvenience.
During months 1 to 3, it was so uncomfortable that I wondered why I had the surgery and regretted it briefly.
But like a lie, from the point when 3 months passed, the stinging sensation in my eyes and the distance for looking at my phone all seemed to recover.
After entering the 6-month mark, the frequency of using artificial tears decreased.
I did have a bit of dry eye even before surgery.
By months 6 to 8, I felt like I had completely recovered to my pre-surgery condition.
The remaining dryness is similar to before surgery, and since I was prescribed 3 months’ worth of artificial tears, I’m just continuing to use them.
Still, I think I did well getting the surgery. After wearing glasses my whole life, going around without them is so convenient haha
