I'm someone who had been thinking about jaw surgery for yearsㅜㅜ Every time I made up my mind to have surgery, I suddenly got scared and thought I should just live with it, but whenever I looked in the mirror, the square jawbone protruding on both sides bothered me, so I decided again that I should have surgery, and this kept repeating. Then I thought I couldn't put it off any longer, so after a consultation at Hospital A, I even put down a deposit. But at Hospital A, their attitude during the preoperative tests and after I paid the deposit was really not good... I thought postoperative care would be obvious without even seeing it, and next I went for the consultation I had booked at Taco Plastic Surgery. Even thinking about it now, I think it was a really good choice.
I have a personality that worries a lot, so I asked a huge number of questions about everything from one to ten, but the counseling manager gave me advice comfortably like a friend. For things like the surgical method, I think I just trusted them (I had researched the director tremendously before going... ㅎㅁㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ).
When the director used Photoshop to show me that my face after surgery would be about like this, I said, "This is possible!? This can be done!?" and they confidently said, "Yes, it can. I'm showing you because it can be done." ㅠㅠ Seeing them speak with such certainty...ㅎ I booked the surgery date right away. Now that I've had surgery, I think it turned out even prettier than the face they showed me with Photoshop back then, so I'm living satisfied.ㅎㅎ
My face wasn't one that anyone would obviously call a square jaw. Rather, when I said I wanted surgery, everyone reacted like, "Why would you?" So it wasn't a square jaw noticeable to others, but more like my own stress from the parts sticking out on both sides...? But I think this affects the impression of the face!
Before, I insisted on long hair to hide my jaw, and even when taking photos, I absolutely edited my jaw(ㅠㅠ), but now even with a regular camera, when I take photos, my jaw looks so slim that I'm satisfied. I think doing cortical osteotomy together to get a frontal effect played a part in creating a dramatic effect after surgery. Since it was square jaw surgery, I stayed in the hospital for one day, and the very kind nurse checked on me continuously throughout the night on schedule, and took care of every little thing when I was discharged, so I was very grateful. When I went for postoperative care too, thanks to the kind nurses, I was able to receive it in a good mood.
I'm living satisfied with my life now after surgery, to the point where the years of worrying feel pointless. Even my family says it looks better that I had surgery(ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠ...)... Lastly... Director and nurses, thank you so much.
