I raised the nasal tip with ear cartilage, and because I had a complex about my bridge looking nonexistent in photos, I put in 1 mm of silicone. Even with just this, since I originally had some bridge height, it definitely changed a lot..
Just from putting something in the tip and bridge, even though it was only 1 mm, my overall impression changed from cute-looking -> refined. As my round nose shape changed to a sharper-feeling nose, it does look more refined, but since the youthful image I originally had disappeared, it makes me want to get my eyes fixed to match that too..
People around me are split 50:50, saying things like my previous nose suited my original face better, or that what I have now looks more natural and the nose shape is pretty..
If I could go back, I wonder whether I really needed to get nose surgery while already thinking about revision surgery 10 years later.. Even now, sometimes I think, since it’s only 1 mm of silicone anyway, should I just take it out.. But at the same time, mine has a straight-down shape, and when I see everyone else with a ski-slope nose, I get envious again
The consultation was kind, but I didn’t really feel that the doctor was particularly kind. Since it was done under local anesthesia without sleep sedation, I could feel the surgery happening in real time, so it was terrifying..
