After <after surgery><before / after><before / after>I had been stressed by myself my whole life over my large bulbous nose + hump nose, so I got surgery. When I went around for consultations, doctors at other places recommended alar reduction first, but here they said to try raising the nasal tip first, and if I was still not satisfied then we could do more, so I liked that. The cost was on the higher side compared with other places, but I liked the nose shapes in the surgery reviews, so I did it here.
On the day of surgery, I went in, lay down on the operating table, and they told me to say what bothered me most, so I said I wanted a slim, feminine nose. I felt them wrapping my face and fell asleep, and when I opened my eyes I was being taken to the recovery room.. After coming to my senses a bit, I came home and slept again lol My nose didn’t hurt, and I didn’t even have a nosebleed, but clear watery nasal discharge was no joke lol And.. I still have a runny nose..
At my day-3 visit, they took off the splint to check and there was blood pooling at the glabella, so they drained it and put the splint back on. At my day-7 visit, I went to have the stitches removed, but there was blood pooling at the glabella again, so they pressed along the nasal bridge and drained it with a syringe, then put the splint back on. At my day-9 visit, they removed the stitches inside my nose, the doctor confirmed there was no blood pooling, and the splint came off! At that time I looked straight into the mirror at the clinic, and my nose was still chubby so I didn’t like it, you know? But when I turned my head to the side, I was immediately satisfied... hehe I had been really worried about the blood pooling too, but on day 9 it was okay, so I felt relievedㅠ
For swelling, on days 1-2 my forehead to eyes were so swollen that I could barely open my eyes, and on days 3-5 it went down to my cheeks, so I walked around with a square face lol I took all the clinic medication + 2 types of swelling medicine + pumpkin juice + pumpkin red bean tea, and I went for walks twice a day for 30 minutes each, so by day 7 I went in with most of the swelling gone except for my nose lol
For the nasal bridge, I had silicone 3 mm placed (they said it would be hard to get the slim, smooth line I wanted without it), hump correction, osteotomy, and for the nasal tip I had ear cartilage, nasal tip fat removal, and angle correction (improvement of a drooping nasal tip). There is still some swelling left when looking from the front, but I’m very satisfied with the side profile.
And after surgery I do have quite a lot of nasal discharge.. They said once it starts, I may have to watch it for up to a month and a half? so I bought medicine for the runny nose today... hehe I met the doctor today for a follow-up, and they emphasized that I can take runny nose medicine, use a spray, and gently blow my nose, but I absolutely shouldn’t drink alcohol.
Acquaintances I met asked me about the clinic, so I told them, and one friend even took a photo of it while we were drinking coffee at a cafe, so as long as no other problems come up, I think I can be satisfied with this place, so I’m writing a review lol
