When I went to get my stitches removed on day 9 after full facial contouring surgery, I was swollen and out of it. I asked the director, "Director, were my facial bones cut well?" They showed me the photo I had uploaded, but at the time I was in no state to take a picture, and I did not even know what it was. I just went, "Ah, okay~" and went home. I just wanted to hurry home and lie down. I do not even know why I asked that kind of question? lol
Then this time, I went for my 6-month follow-up, had a CT taken, and asked the director if I could see that photo again. They showed it to me again, and I was a bit surprised...
Other hospitals usually draw the design on your face and then go into surgery, right? But I was told that the director at Bondi uses some kind of program to design every patient like that on CT bone images, down to 0.1 mm units. They said they tend to pay a lot of attention because they want to make the patient’s desired face shape even a little closer to reality. It was kind of touching, I guess? Anyway, I chose Bondi because it is a one-doctor clinic and I heard they are good at customized surgery that matches my facial proportions. Maybe because they designed it so insanely meticulously like that, the surgery also turned out so satisfyingly well.
Oh! And there was no overtreatment either. I said I wanted cheekbone surgery too, and they said that if I did my cheekbones as well, I would lose too much volume, and that with full facial contouring, my overall proportions would be fine, so the cheekbones would not stand out that much. They said if the cheekbones really bothered me too much after surgery, we could talk about it again then, so I only proceeded with full facial contouring. But I think it was good that I listened to the director. Now my cheekbones do not stand out, and overall I think it looks fine!
