I noticed it leaning to one side from the time the splint was removed, but it wasn't very noticeable because of the swelling. Once the swelling went down, it became noticeable, so I went for a follow-up today, around day 40. The doctor mentioned skin tension/external impact as possible causes of the warping, but I really haven't had any impact, so I think it may be a problem with skin tension. They said this kind of thing doesn't happen often with autologous costal cartilage
Anyway, I decided to get aftercare treatment in the summer I worked so hard to reduce the swelling, and just thinking about going through it again is already exhausting. They said they'll provide aftercare, but if warping was observed this quickly, isn't that the hospital's fault?? I live outside Seoul, so it takes extra time + money too. Won't they compensate me for that?? What a waste, seriously
