10-month review of chin implant surgery and paranasal augmentation.

Before and after Because I had a narrow, short chin and severe nasolabial hollowing, I was thinking a lot about surgery and went here and there for consultations at plastic surgery clinics. Since chin filler is not permanent, people around me said that if I would need it continuously anyway, surgery would be better, so I debated between an implant and genioplasty advancement. For a case like mine, because my chin was narrow and small, there was a limit to how much it could be advanced, so I was told in consultation that an implant would have a larger surgical effect. Among several places, I chose the director who gave me confidence in both price and skill. He said paranasal augmentation was also necessary, so I proceeded with it right away. After surgery, the aftereffects from the paranasal augmentation were quite greater than from the chin. For a while, I stayed only at home looking like a monkey. At first, I was extremely satisfied with the chin surgery, but because of the swelling after the paranasal augmentation, I was really worried. I even asked the director at my post-op appointment whether something looked more awkward or whether too much had been inserted. The director said something along the lines that once time passed, I would actually wish there were more, and in reality, now I don't think too much was inserted~! As for the chin, as you can see in the attached photo, what more is there to say~~ The hollowing around the nasolabial folds disappeared, but the wrinkles still haven't improved, so I'm going to look into that area once more! If anyone has similar concerns to me, I would recommend an implant too!!
