Desired look: a dramatic, slim nasal bridge; I have a hump, so I hope it gets corrected properly At first I wanted no implant.. but after going to consultations, I realized Having no basic nasal bridge and wanting no implant was too big of a dream.. I’ve only been to two places so far, but I’m posting to share
Louvre (Kwak) -When I searched for dramatic noses, this place came up a lot, so it was somewhere I definitely wanted to visit. I called on my way home from work to make an appointment and asked for the earliest weekday date -Had CT/photos taken, then consulted with the consultant - director - consultant; I think it took about 1 hour total -No osteotomy needed x They said because the hump needs to be shaved and my bridge also feels slightly wide, silicone would be needed to get the dramatic, slim look I want -We talked while looking at the CT together. Things like the size of my septum, whether my nose was crooked, and so on.. They explained everything to me -The director often asked things like, “For example~ did you understand~?” I felt like the director prefers designs that can create a clear before-and-after difference -They said the director checks all the surgical progress -They tend to tell you everything you might be curious about before you even ask -Thoughts: I felt the director was very meticulous. When checking my nose line, they even explained with drawings and touched my nose while explaining in a way that was easy for me to understand, which I liked The consultant also didn’t just listen; they explained by comparing with their own surgery experience? and things like that, so it felt more relatable(?) and the consultation didn’t feel burdensome, which I liked
JT (Kim) -I booked here too because it was mentioned a lot. I’d seen quite a few comments saying there was a long wait, so I was worried, but I think I got in pretty quickly.. about 15 minutes? -After the CT scan, the consultant asked what nose design I wanted, listened, and then I started the consultation with the director right away -Here too, they showed me the CT and told me the size of my septal cartilage. They also explained how to choose nose materials well? -The director said my nasal hump would need osteotomy. They said bulbous nose correction and silicone would be needed to achieve the design I want -I felt like they prefer to do only surgeries with definite results. If I asked in a “Wouldn’t this work?” kind of way, they would honestly say it wouldn’t be effective, or that it could be done but wouldn’t change much -Thoughts: I liked that the director clearly told me only the surgeries that were possible, but because the consultation ended after just telling me the possible surgeries.. I felt it was a bit short. I recommend everyone bring lots of questions The consultant also felt like they were just doing exactly what they had to do(?), like “The director recommended this, and the cost is~ same-day booking is~,” rather than talking much about the surgery.. It’s understandable, but I wanted to hear more explanation, so that was a bit disappointing
It was the same before, but whenever I go around to consultations, I have a habit of organizing everything, so I wrote it up The reason I didn’t write the costs is that diagnoses differ from person to person, so I recommend hearing it directly Other than that, I also took the time to go myself.. so I tried my best to write this I’m planning to visit two more places just this week.. If I have time, I’ll add more here
