Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision rhinoplasty

Exactly 1 year ago, I had revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Sung Yong-hae at GNG. Now that a year has passed, I’m fairly satisfied with the functional aspect (rhinitis), but for the cosmetic aspect, maybe he tends to pursue a natural look. Now, at first glance, it feels a bit high to say I didn’t have nose surgery, but natural enough to say I did? Something like that, but not excessive. Maybe because of that, I’m not extremely thrilled with it, but it’s not strange or anything at all. I also don’t want to touch my nose anymore, and it’s just that my expectations were originally high; if I look only at the nose, the surgery went well. The doctor is not exactly the very kind type. But he’s not particularly unfriendly either, so it feels kind of ambiguous~~~. Maybe because it was revision surgery, I swelled up tremendously after surgery, to the point that the hospital told me to stay hospitalized longer… I stayed for 10 days.. It was awful.. Still, the nurses were really kind, and even though I called them often, they took good care of me without showing any annoyance. The consultant was kind too. But if I were told to have nose surgery again, I couldn’t do it… It was truly so painful and hard that I thought it would be better to just die. I only had my nose operated on, but my whole face swelled, and I thought my lips were going to puff up and burst….. They made Dookkae’s lips look like nothing. Blood vessels burst in both eyes, so my eyeballs were covered red. Recovery also took a long time, so I could barely go outside for almost a month Now that a year has passed, by my standards it’s not like, “It’s so pretty! I’m so satisfied!” But still, when seen from the side, people around me say my nose is pretty and tell me they want to get nose surgery after seeing me. Revision rhinoplasty.. I don’t regret it, but I’m not overwhelmingly satisfied either.
