Honestly, it’s been quite a while since I had breast surgery, and people around me who don’t know really have no idea, so I wondered if I really needed to write a review. But after looking through other reviews, I suddenly wanted to write one too... what is this?? Human psychology is funny hahaha
1. Early period after surgery Right after surgery, I wasn’t just like, wow! I have breasts now! and super excited;; I think the period up to day 3, week 1, month 1... was the hardest mentally.. lol I remember leaving another Naver plastic surgery cafe back then.. because lots of breast surgery reviews from people around the same time as me were being posted, and they all looked happy... It’s similar to why I don’t use Instagram. I had a kind of reality check too, and I still had so many worries, but it felt like I was the only one whining, while those people looked so satisfied... so the early period was just kind of hard? I don’t remember well... because it was so long ago hahaha
2. Tissue softness Then!! Once I passed 2 months, my tissue gradually started to soften... The ㄱㄹ where I had surgery provides aftercare up to 1 year and does progress checks too. Every time I went, they always checked my tissue carefully (maybe more carefully than I did,,) and gave me expensive treatments too haha, so it felt like we were going through the breast development process together?^^ I think I liked that (just my personal feeling~~). I felt the care was a bit special Truly close care lol Honestly, the feel gets better as time passes. It really is a battle with time, and your own tissue matters too, um,,, there’s a difference between when I’m on my period and when I’m not,,, anyway, they’re soft and squishy now!
3. Scars For scars, if you want to say, wow, they’re not visible! I think you need to manage them calmly and wait 1-2 years. If it’s only been 3 months or 6 months and you expect the scars to be clean, maybe that’s just human greed. Still, in my case, I think they made the incision very minimal, so they disappeared relatively quickly! (Currently, they’re barely visible and other people don’t really notice. Oh, and I remember they said they paid a lot of attention to the suturing too, whether it was Mint thread suturing or buried suturing or something (when my friend went for a consultation about 2 years ago, they mentioned Mint thread suturing, so it stuck in my memory) We were talking about whether I knew surgical scars could be closed with Mint threads, and I said it was unusual and wondered if these days everyone closes with Mint threads. Honestly, I don’t know if other hospitals also use Mint threads, but it was information I looked up when researching breast surgery... Anyway, they say Mint thread is more expensive than regular sutures. People who have tried thread lifting will know, but they say it costs more than regular mono threads and things like that. For one facial lift, the price per thread is pretty expensive...ㄷㄷ But I think I heard the reason they suture with it is to reduce tension (the pulling force between both sides of the scar). Honestly, I don’t remember the details lol, so I searched “Mint thread suturing” on Naver,,,, hahahaha I still don’t think many places use Mint threads for incision closure, so you’ll probably have to ask about this yourself during a breast consultation!! 4. Aftercare I received / the aftercare I liked the most CAPS, light therapy, soft laser (extracorporeal shockwave) + scar care, etc etc etc.... It’s been so long that I don’t remember everything well, but I really received a lot! If I said I wanted more of something, they would schedule it separately haha. After surgery, I never once thought the money was a waste. Among them, what I liked most wasn’t CAPS but soft laser << this was the best.... After getting it, I could feel the texture loosen up a lot I think I benefited a lot from this. I heard it’s a really expensive machine haha. As expected, for care,, expensive care must be the best hahaha. Also, my friend is still post-op and receiving care, and I heard that after treatment there, they send a separate KakaoTalk message explaining what care they did that day and what was performed. That didn’t exist when I was receiving care hahaha. Maybe because people don’t really know what they received, they added explanations. Recently, I went along when my friend got care, and after a loooong time I had an ultrasound and received care too hahaha Honestly, remembering how well they treated me then is also why I’m writing this review........
5. Satisfaction after surgery I was looking through my gallery for pre-op photos for the first time in ages, and why does that chest not feel like mine anymore hahaha. Wow, was I really that flat,,,(Still, before surgery I was a full A cup!!!!!) I received the photo through KakaoTalk and was like, uh, that’s not my chest, denying it hahaha (The line-like marks on my breasts are either treatment marks or bra marks or some kind of marks, but normally they aren’t there.) And I also asked them to take lots of post-op photos from various angles, and compared to then I have lost a little weight too, but above all, after breast surgery, I definitely think your body shape becomes prettier. Because curves that weren’t there appear, the waist looks much thinner too ㅇ.ㅇ... that effect is definitely there!! lol The photos were taken from a bit above, so honestly the angles are a little different in each photo, but actually I wanted breasts that looked a bit like a mermaid’s lol, which sounds funny, but I wanted that kind of slightly drooping UU line, so with true sincerity, I gained the confidence to go to a public bathhouse pretending they’re natural breasts hahaha
The swelling all went down in the first 1-2 months, but I think the shape kept changing little by little until 6 months, from what I remember? It felt like they gradually came down and settled into place, and the hospital kept checking them. After that, there were no other changes, and this shape has been maintained exactly as it is hehe. Hospital care has a regular? fixed program up to 1 year, and after that it seems to be adjusted a bit.
I’m living comfortably doing swimming, gym, Pilates, lying on my stomach using my phone, etc etc. I only wore wire bras in the beginning, and because they were annoying and uncomfortable, I wear lots of wireless bras now But they told me that if the lower breast tissue stretches well like mine, even if I don’t necessarily wear a wire bra, I should wear a bra with firm banding, meaning one that supports well!
Reactions around me = the surgery was well done / acquaintances who don’t know about the surgery = they don’t know I had surgery, and if I tell them, they go “huh??” (I guess people are less interested in other people’s breasts than expected.) Since they appeared after not being there hahaha, friends who originally knew me really want to touch them, and after touching them they say it was really well done, get jealous, and generally want to do it too. In the case of people who don’t know, I’m not always wearing tight clothes, so if I wear reasonably comfortable clothes they don’t know, and it’s more like, oh, your breasts were big? For boyfriends I dated after surgery and such, even if they know, having the sense not to say it seems up to the boyfriend,,,? When they say things like “I really like your breasts so much,” it seems like maybe they really don’t know, and I didn’t bother telling them
Anyway, the last thing I want to say is.. when I was getting surgery, what I was most curious about was what breasts are like after several years, and what they look like when moving, but that information is really rare... (After surgery, people post reviews and posts in the beginning hahahaha, but after some time, they don’t really come into communities anymore) So I’m posting this late to share information!
