Male four-way canthoplasty + incisional double eyelid + ptosis correction, 1-month progress

Before <Before surgery><Day 19><Day 24><Day 24>Before surgery, people around me were half telling me not to do it / half telling me to do it, and I myself was also on the fence.. But now that a month has passed and I look at old photos, I really think I’m so glad I did it ㅠ The friends who tried to stop me all say it looks better that I did it, and the friends who recommended it say it looks much better, but somehow they seem about 2% unsatisfied? But that’s why I like it. The ones who tried to stop me didn’t want an artificial image, and the ones who recommended it were thinking of something more glamorous when they recommended it. What I kept asking the director for, right up until before surgery, was to make it not obvious that I had plastic surgery.. But also that my eyes still had to get bigger..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I did show photos of the eyes I wanted, but everyone’s eye structure is different and there are eyes that suit each person, so I said I wanted eyes that looked harmonious with my face. The result came out exactly according to my needs, so I’m really satisfied ㅠ (Could I have gone a little higher..?ㅎ) I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner, and now that people are starting to take off masks, I even feel disappointed ㅠ

Someone might say there isn’t much difference from before, and the funny thing is that I sometimes think that too, but whenever I do, friends who have known me for a long time tell me there’s a huge difference and not to rewrite my memories... ㅎ

I’m not encouraging plastic surgery, but after trying it once, I understand why people do it.. The level of satisfaction is really on a different level from petit procedures... When choosing a hospital, fame and price are all important, but once you go around to a few consultations, you’ll know.. That feeling of, ‘Ah, if I entrust it to this person, they’ll do a good job!’ I got that feeling at this hospital. Not only the director, but I could also feel that the consultant was paying a lot of attention.

So far nothing has gone wrong, and the one thing I’m disappointed about is that there is a bit of scar tissue at the epicanthoplasty area ㅠ I noticed it after the stitches were removed... It will probably disappear with time, but since the epicanthoplasty area is a soft and delicate area, I think it may take a while. Still, fortunately it’s not noticeable unless someone brings their face close and looks.

Because I’m a man, I thought even more about whether to get plastic surgery, and I was careful in choosing the hospital... If I were a woman, even if it showed a little, I could cover it with makeup, but men can’t... I started online research in January and in-person consultations in April. After getting two consultations at my top pick, I thought I should just get surgery quickly and reduce swelling instead of spending time agonizing, and that I’d rather regret doing it than regret not doing it, so I scheduled the earliest date and had the surgery. But what I regret now is only why I didn’t do it sooner... Regret that I should have done it in my early 20s and enjoyed my youth with pretty eyes..?
