Before <Before surgery> Before <Proof that my bridge was low..> After <After getting my nose done!> After <Before-and-after comparison lol> I’m one month post-op from rhinoplasty now, and I don’t think there’s anything to worry about anymore, so I’m writing a review! My nose wasn’t in such a bad shape, but my bridge was low, so I wanted to raise it a bit, and I had a lot of concerns every time I looked in the mirror because I wanted my slightly wide bulbous nose to become naturally slimmer. But after surgery, once the shape settled to some extent, I became satisfied, so I wanted to show it.

The nose I wanted was 1. Natural height and shape 2. A nasal tip that wouldn’t look too pointy from the front That was it.
At every clinic I went to for consultations, when I told them the line I wanted, some people said that if I did it that naturally, the bulbous nose correction might not be as much as I wanted, and there were also many people who tried to steer me toward using costal cartilage.
So I realized that if I wanted to choose firmly and smartly, I needed my own standards.
1. Nose specialist (also good at revision surgery) 2. Whether they could give me the nose I wanted (referring to photos in reviews) 3. Ultimately, whether it would be convenient to travel home after surgery 4. Consultation and aftercare Based mainly on these, I ended up choosing the clinic where I would have surgery.
I was able to finish the surgery naturally, just as I wanted. I don’t feel like my nasal bridge is too high for my face, and the broad feeling at the nasal tip is gone, so I’m satisfied.
I think people with low nasal bridges worry a lot that if they raise it too much during rhinoplasty, they’ll end up with 11-shaped nostrils, but in my case, the director paid attention to the symmetry of the shape and even the size, so I don’t think it turned out unnatural.
Putting everything else aside, the biggest reason I’m proud of myself is that I found and chose a director with a lot of rhinoplasty experience. Through this, I realized even more clearly that people don’t look into plastic surgery while checking expertise and experience for nothing.
So everyone, famous places and places rumored to be good are fine too, but I hope you carefully check one by one whether they are an expert in this field, and how much experience they have in performing cosmetic surgery, before deciding.
