Before-and-after post-op day 5 review
I gained a lot of weight over the past year, but even before that my upper arms were on the thicker side, and as I gained weight, my upper arms kept getting bigger, which was so stressful that I decided to have surgery.
I was really worried because they said liposuction would be done under general anesthesia, but the nurses in the operating room told me not to worry. I was scared and shaking a bit, but they held my hand and were kind, so I was really grateful. On the first day, on the way home, my arms felt so numb and it was hard, but after exactly one day, the numb feeling was gone. Aside from the compression garment being uncomfortable, everything was okay. It’s still hard because I can’t lift my arms very high yet, but other than that, I’m okay.
I still can’t really tell because of the swelling, but from the front and back, the lines really look more cleaned up. I hope the swelling goes down soon.
