Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> My previous nose surgery started making my nasal tip keep turning upward one day, and when viewed from the front, my nostrils were completely visible, which stressed me out so much. I felt like I needed revision surgery quickly, so I asked all my friends around me and had consultations at all the places said to be famous for revision rhinoplasty. I had the surgery with Dr. Park Gwi-yong. It was a clinic I went to through a friend’s recommendation, and I heard the doctor had already been famous for revision rhinoplasty for a long time. The clinic interior was extremely clean, and first of all, the consultant’s ability to empathize was seriously amazing lol And what was really surprising was that they even took an X-ray to check whether autologous costal cartilage could be used. Other clinics didn’t have anything like this, but they seemed a little proud because not many clinics have this (it takes up a lot of space, and I heard almost no places take this during consultation. I heard many places take it only to confirm things once surgery is finalized, and even then, it’s mostly large hospitals.)
I liked that the consultation with the doctor was long, and I definitely got the feeling that he handles autologous costal cartilage well. I could also feel that he had a lot of experience with revision rhinoplasty, and the clinic seemed genuinely serious about revision surgery, so I decided to have surgery here and even paid the deposit that same day hehe
It’s been about 2 weeks since surgery now, and there hasn’t really been anything uncomfortable after the surgery. When I went in for a follow-up, the doctor checked everything himself and said the surgery went well, so I felt relieved The doctor recommended silicone for the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, so I had the surgery according to his recommendation. People around me also say the surgery turned out really well, and most of all, I’m so satisfied!!! The swelling at the nasal tip goes down the slowest, so it does still feel a little plump, but I’m very satisfied with the side profile, and I think the front view will look better once more swelling goes down lolol
