Somehow, it happened kind of very suddenly..?
I’ve had a lot of concerns about my appearance since I was young. (Sleepy-looking, small eyes + a nose that is large but has a spread-out tip, a slight hump, and a low bridge.)
But I had never seriously thought about plastic surgery. Wouldn’t it hurt a lot? I was worried about that first, and more than anything, I thought it would cost a lot of money.
But when my enlistment date was set for June, my mother brought up plastic surgery. She said I had 3 months left until enlistment, so how about just getting surgery during that time? (Actually, we had lightly talked about plastic surgery a few times before.) So, somehow, I ended up willingly(?) getting surgery.
Day 1 after surgery: Huh? It didn’t hurt at all compared to what I expected.. My nose and eyes really didn’t hurt even 1 bit... Only the ear where cartilage was taken hurt a little. Of course, because of the cotton placed inside my nose, I could only breathe through my mouth, so that was pretty hard..
Day 2 after surgery: Same as Day 1, but I got a bit used to breathing through my mouth.
Day 3 after surgery: I visited the clinic and had the cotton inside my nose and the gauze? that had been fixed on my ear removed. The gauze on my ear was stuck to dried blood, so it hurt quite a lot when it was removed... Removing the cotton inside my nose didn’t hurt much. (About the feeling of a COVID test?) Once my nose opened up, I felt like I could live again..!
Day 4 after surgery: Now the ear pain is completely gone, and the facial swelling has started to go down. But my nose got blocked again... I think it’s because of swelling, but when I lie down, turn my body slightly to the side, and prop my chin with my hand, it clears right up..? So whenever my nose got a bit blocked, I did this posture.
Day 5 after surgery: The swelling went down more, and yellow bruising appeared around my eyes.
It’s only Day 5 after surgery, but personally I’m very satisfied so far..! I can’t wash properly and can’t lower my head carelessly, so it’s a bit inconvenient, but it doesn’t really hurt.. I think this much is tolerable.
I’ll post another review later when the major swelling goes down...!
