Before<Before>After<After>After<After>Before getting revision surgery, I wanted to have another revision because of the distinctive pinched-looking shape of my nose, so during the consultation I focused on the nasal tip.
The director said I already had a decent nasal bridge, so if I wasn’t trying to make it higher than it is now, we should focus the revision surgery on the nasal tip. Since this was another surgery for me too, I wanted to feel as little burden as possible, so I think the diagnosis the director gave really resonated with me.
Honestly, since it was revision surgery, I couldn’t help worrying about swelling, but as I said in my previous review, there was much less swelling than after my first surgery. Even though it has only been 3 months now, almost all the minor swelling is gone, and it is settling in well.
If you look at the photos, my nasal bridge is on the thin side, but compared to that, my nasal tip was blunt, so I didn’t like it.. But after the revision surgery, the line from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip became slim and refined throughout, so I think I’m even more satisfied.
Aside from nose surgery, I also asked about various other procedures, but Dr. Kim here is the type who recommends only the surgeries that are truly necessary, so I also liked that he clearly says no to things that won’t work. It felt like he had a lot of pride and confidence in his own surgeries? Seeing that actually made me trust him more.
At first, I went to the clinic because I liked the reviews, but I really think I made the right choice getting surgery from the director.
In any case, I think the more excessive revision surgery gets, the less benefit you gain from it.. I hope everyone meets a director who speaks honestly about plastic surgery, saying yes if something is right and no if it isn’t.
