I had a consultation with Director Kim Hye-young for non-implant nose surgery. The consultation was based on the CT scan I had taken. Was the hospital a five-story building? It was huge. The CT was taken on the 2nd floor, and the consultation was on the 3rd floor, so everything was neatly divided in a systematic way. For the non-implant surgery, they said they harden crushed donated rib cartilage powder to raise the bridge of the nose, and for the tip they build a support with septal cartilage and use the remaining cartilage to raise the tip as well. If the septal cartilage is insufficient, they use donated rib cartilage, and there is no extra cost for that. The downside of the crushed rib-cartilage surgery is that over time only the dermal part gets absorbed, leaving it uneven; the advantage is that there are fewer complications such as inflammation or contracture! The estimate was 3.1 million won with a 100,000 won reservation deposit~
