I’ve had it done at several places since before, so it felt awkward to name one specific place, so I didn’t write one.
•Jaw Honestly, I’m not sure there was much effect, but I had been getting it regularly for a long time. Recently I got it at a factory-style clinic and suddenly became very peanut-shaped, so it’s been really stressful. But if you leave enough time between sessions, it’s a generally easy and decent procedure.
•Glabella When I exercise, my expression scrunches up too much and I thought I’d get wrinkles, so I started getting it. I’m very satisfied because wrinkles definitely don’t form when I frown. I plan to keep getting it regularly.
•Calves My love-hate calves... They’re my biggest complex, so I think I’ve had it done at least 5 times so far. Since the area is large, it’s expensive for Botox, and because it’s a large dose, I’m getting the more expensive kind that’s less likely to cause resistance. Honestly, there’s no effect of making the calves thinner. But when I wear heels or stand on tiptoe, the calf muscle no longer pops up sharply. I keep getting it while thinking that at least that is something. But I also felt this needs to be done with enough time between sessions. One time I didn’t leave enough time and got it done, and for two days after the procedure, I had no strength when walking, so it was scary. It did get better as time passed.
