Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

My cheekbones disappeared and I got a doll-like facial line..

Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After <after surgery> Posting a 2-week review of cheekbone reduction + Mini V

I had surgery on March 8 and it was performed by Director Park Jong-rim.

On the morning of surgery, before going into surgery, I met the director, listened to an explanation of the surgical process, asked what I was curious about, and then went into the operating room. I had been calm until the day before, but the moment I entered the hospital, I started getting nervous. After hearing the director's calm voice, I was at least able to settle down a bit. When the general anesthesia injection went in, it felt a little stiff and sore, and then I passed out.. When I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room. After surgery, rather than pain, I was so cold that my body was trembling. When I pressed the bell, a staff member came right away, covered me with a blanket, and comforted(?) me. {Thinking back, I remember being really irritated because it hurt so much}

Then I passed out again.. After waking up and passing out about once or twice, it became bearable. Aside from an aching sensation around my jaw, it wasn't painful to the point of going, ahh!! Before discharge, the director came, checked my condition, told me what to be careful about, and then I got my prescription and left. I stopped by the pharmacy, took a taxi, and hurried home. There are many reviews saying their throat hurt after surgery, but for me, rather than hurting, no matter how much water I drank, the dry and thick feeling in my throat would not go away. I also woke up several times while sleeping. Each time I drank water to moisten my throat, and I think that condition lasted until day 3. Also, my lower face ached like menstrual cramps, so I had no appetite.

All I had all day was one or two strawberry milks, but I wasn't hungry. From day 4, the aching went away and I felt well enough to start eating porridge. Until day 5, the swelling was severe overall, so even a large-size mask was tight and couldn't cover the swelling, but from day 6 it went down noticeably. Also, if I lowered my head, I could get a nosebleed, and they said that blood was just what had pooled somewhere inside the nose during surgery coming out. Really, one drop flowed down and then stopped. On the day it had been one week, I went to get the sideburn stitches removed. I braced myself because I thought it would hurt, but it didn't hurt at all. Then they gave me a compression band and said to wear it for at least 4 hours a day. They said not to wear it while sleeping and not to exceed 15 minutes on the first day.

Looking at my progress over one week, I don't think my swelling was that severe. There's something on Coupang called Flower Pumpkin Juice, and everyone around me knew about it. I think this is really good. I think one of the reasons my swelling went down quickly was also thanks to that pumpkin juice. At week 2, I went to get the intraoral stitches removed, and I had developed inflammation inside my mouth. They said it wasn't serious, but they told me to eat porridge until next week

I'm going to think of it as dieting and eat porridge for one more week.. If you're tired of porridge, there's something called Morning Tofu at convenience stores, and I recommend it. It's pretty filling in the morning

Anyway, when I look at my pre-op photos, I really think, were my cheekbones like this?! I hope the remaining swelling disappears soon!!
