From applying numbing cream and waiting, to getting the laser, to leaving the hospital, it took a total of 2 hours. The wait was longer than I expected. It would be good to keep this in mind when visiting, too. The laser type also wasn’t Er:YAG but CO2, and since pigmentation or scarring seems to vary depending on the practitioner’s skill and the individual’s skin condition, I just went ahead with the procedure. If you’re very worried about scarring, go somewhere that uses Er:YAG!
