There was a computer in the consultation room, so they showed me photos and explained things in quite a lot of detail. I have a hump, and even from the front my nasal bones look wide, so they said the hump would need to be shaved down and osteotomies would need to be done. But I was worried it could come back, so when I asked whether it could come back, they said it could. They especially said that if a hump is shaved down too aggressively, the nasal bridge could collapse, so they shave it safely; if there is still a hump after surgery, wouldn't it be better to shave it again afterward rather than having the nasal bridge sink? They specifically only talked about using autologous costal cartilage. They said they would use autologous costal cartilage, septal cartilage, and cartilage from both ears.
Clinic name: Respect The waiting time was long. They touched my nose and then had the consultation. I had a CT scan. Other places recommended 1-2 mm of silicone for the nasal bridge, but here they recommended 2-4 mm. They said my skin is on the thicker side, so it probably would not show much. They did not recommend using autologous costal cartilage. With autologous costal cartilage, the cost definitely jumps to twice as much. Still, they answered my questions fairly well.
