I’m looking into revision ptosis correction surgery because of a pulling sensation in one eye and aesthetic dissatisfaction, and I’m debating which hospital to go to.
I prefer a private clinic or a hospital with about two directors, so I had been looking into places like that.
I narrowed it down to two places. The problem is that the cost difference between the two hospitals is exactly 1 million won, so I’m torn.
1. Cost: 3.3 million won. More than 10 years since obtaining specialist certification. They inferred the cause of the pulling sensation in my eye and explained various things. They also explained the line I want. However, I don’t like the hospital’s reviews.
2. Cost: 2.3 million won. 6 years since obtaining specialist certification. Regarding the pulling sensation in my eye, they answered that they couldn’t know the cause. They didn’t seem to want to talk much about this issue. Instead, they kept creating different lines and examined things from various angles. They did say my current eyes look better. This is a hospital I went to because I liked the reviews.
Every hospital I’ve been to so far has said that even if I have surgery again, they can’t guarantee that the pulling sensation in my eye will go away. Of course, that’s understandable. In this situation, I think aesthetic improvement would be very important, and personally, just looking at the reviews, number 2 is much more my style.
I’m debating where I should go in this situation.
