Before<Before>After<After (days 1, 7, 10)>It’s already been 8 years since my first double-eyelid surgery!! Even before the double-eyelid surgery, my left eye originally had a double eyelid.. I had incisional double-eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction.
From the very beginning, my left eye was completely a sausage eyelid, but they said it was swelling The clinic kept avoiding the issue, saying it would become the same if I waited... Since the clinic kept insisting that the surgery hadn’t gone wrong, I just gave up, didn’t go back, and lived with it...
But then one day, all of a sudden, the asymmetrical eyes and sausage eyelid started bothering me so much. Since I live outside Seoul, I couldn’t go for consultations right away, so I did a lot of online research, booked 5 clinics, and went to all the consultations in one day!! The directors’ opinions and surgical methods were all different, and because I packed them all into one day, I thought I’d get really confused. Usually at clinics, you first consult with the consultant, then after the director’s consultation, you discuss the cost with the consultant!! During that gap, I tried to write down almost everything the director said in my notes!!!
Among them, the cost was a bit higher than I expected, but.... He said he had operated on many extremely difficult revision cases, so this level was not a difficult surgery at all. He said he could match both eyes as closely as possible. I trusted the director because he spoke with confidence, so I chose that place and had the surgery!!!!
I had revision surgery by incision (lowering the left eye line + raising the right eye line: improving the distorted line), and I’m so satisfied... The director’s hand skills must be so good,, I barely swelled and had no bruising... Honestly, except for the first day after surgery when the anesthesia wore off, it didn’t even hurt enough to need painkillers.. I can’t believe this line is possible on day 10 after double-eyelid surgery.. seriously...
It may sound like I’m praising it too much, but during my first surgery, it hurt so much and I struggled a lot with severe swelling + bruising..
At first my left eye was more swollen, so I worried a lot that it might be too thick again, or that my eyes might be asymmetrical again. But the swelling is going down a lot day by day!!!!!! I think after a little more time, both eyes will become completely the same.
When I went to the clinic to get the stitches removed, he said if I was worried that the line might be too low, or if the left eye was still thick even after the swelling went down, not to worry because he would adjust it again himself.
I think my revision surgery was a success!! I’m happy hehe
