I had surgery yesterday, and today is the second day.. I had high-volume liposuction on my thighs and buttocks.
Maybe this is a period when a lot of people have appointments at the hospital, but there were many people and it felt a bit hectic.ㅠ On the day of surgery, I had a consultation with the doctor and went straight into the operating room around 1:30. When I came to after it was over, it was around 7-8 in the evening.
I remember being really cold in the middle, but at that time they placed something like a warm steam towel on my body, so I was okay. I was curious how many cc they removed, but the doctor had already gone home.. The nurse helped me put on the compression garment, answered all my questions and chatted with me, and gave me water and orange juice.
There was so much fluid coming out of the wounds that even the pads and bed sheets were completely soaked..ㅜㅜ The swelling was much worse than I expected, but more than the swelling, the pain... the suffering was what made it hard. I scream every time I use the bathroom..
You can tell if you compare yesterday's and today's photos, but the line has been cleaned up a lot. However, the swelling seems pretty severe, so even though I was in pain all day, I kept walking around the neighborhood. As for my weight, I don't know if the hospital scale and the scale at home are different somehow... or if the one at home is broken, but the numbers were very different..(Which one should I trust..ㄷㄷ)
In the morning, I removed all the compression bandages, disinfected the wound areas, dried them.. and in case more fluid came out, I also placed pads over the wounds. I think it was good that I did. There were traces of fluid on the pads.
I hope it hurts a little less tomorrow ㅠ ㅠ I have to work.. To everyone enduring the pain of liposuction, fighting. Now I have to battle time.. ^. T
