They explain things in consultation really, incredibly thoroughly! The consultation did take a long time, but I decided on surgery right after the consultation!! They explained in real detail what material would be used and how it would be used, so I felt almost spellbound as I had the consultation and booked it lol
For the surgery, I did not get greedy. I replaced the silicone in the nasal bridge to make it slightly higher, and used ear cartilage and dermis for the nasal tip to correct the upturned area and raise the height as much as possible...
Now that the swelling and bruising have gone down, I love my nose so much and I’m excited ❤❤ Honestly, not using autologous costal cartilage was also a kind of insurance for later, since there is still a possibility it could fail again... But is it for real that the director has such golden hands.... I do think maybe I should have just used autologous costal cartilage while I was at it and made it higher, but after my 3rd revision surgery, I feel like I finally got the nose height I wanted, so I’m really, really happy!!!
