Before surgery, my nose was blocked every night so I couldn’t sleep, and from the front, my nose looked round and wide, so I was really unhappy that it made my impression look dull. Also, with my thin body and thin face, I always looked tired and sensitive.
So I decided to get rhinoplasty, and without making a big change to my face, I wanted a straight-to-slightly upturned nose that would look slim from the front. And I asked them to put as much fat as possible into my cheeks too.
It’s been about a month now, and since the swelling hasn’t all gone down yet, it’s a bit more dramatic than the nose height we talked about during the consultation, but I look much more my age than before, so I’m actually satisfied. (To be honest, I hope the swelling doesn’t go down....)
Before, when I took photos, my eyes went to my cheekbones, sunken cheeks, and square jaw area, but now I definitely feel like my nose anchors the center of my face, so the attention goes to my facial features.
