Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty

Before/After As I got older, the area under my eyes became bulging, and because of my drooping eyelids my eyes always felt tired. My eye-opening strength was weak, so I kept using my forehead to open my eyes, which made fine wrinkles form all over my forehead. Because of all this stress, I learned about upper and lower blepharoplasty. Since I had never even had Botox before, it took a lot of courage.

People said I should get consultations at at least three places, so I went to a well-known plastic surgery clinic too, and ended up choosing Objet Plastic Surgery because they were said to be reliable for middle-aged surgeries and aftercare as well. Manager Yeon’s kind consultation opened my heart, and during the second consultation, Director Kim Hyunjo examined me carefully by touch and explained everything in detail. Unlike other hospitals that excessively recommended this and that, he guided me to do only the surgeries I truly needed, so I trusted him more and scheduled the surgery right away.

I thought a lot about whether upper blepharoplasty or brow lift would be better, but the director said that because my eyelids were thin, I would not look harsh, so I had upper and lower blepharoplasty done at the same time. Maybe because I had both procedures together, the swelling went down a bit slowly. I diligently massaged as the hospital instructed. The first two weeks were somewhat uncomfortable, but whenever I left a text about any discomfort, they responded quickly, which reassured me.

Now that it has been about two months, my eyes feel less tired, and my habit of opening my eyes wide has naturally gone away. It seems like much of the swelling from the upper blepharoplasty has gone down, but they said the lower blepharoplasty will slowly become more natural, so I think I need to wait a bit longer.
