Since it's my second surgery, every time I get a consultation I feel depressed + awkward + angry + sad I'm going through every emotion, but I'm still holding onto the hope that things will improve if I get revision surgery, and filtering through reviews. I look whenever I have time, and at this rate I could get a master's and PhD in revision surgery research haha 1. ㅁㅇㄷ I went because I heard it's a hospital famous for autologous costal cartilage. Looking at the direction the director recommended, it was really glamorous. A glamorous result is nice too, but since this is a revision for me, I wanted it to be corrected naturally, so I passed from the consultation stage. Still, the director and consultant were all kind, so if you like glamorous results, it may be worth visiting at least once.
2. ㄴㅈㄹ This place wasn't originally on my list, but I heard they could do closed surgery, so I booked and went. It looked good because if it's done without an open approach, there won't be a scar, but they said it wouldn't be easy for me because I need to have an implant removed. Sadly, pass..
3. ㅂㅌㅇ This is where I went after seeing revision surgery reviews, and the director was good, and I liked that the consultant wasn't over-the-top. They said they could improve the contracture with customized silicone, and that they use Fitme. It seems they don't really handle other things. I gasped at the cost, but it seemed like they provide good aftercare too, and seeing that there were many people like me who came looking into revision surgery was a bit comforting
All 3 places were decent, but I think ㅂㅌㅇ fit my needs the best So I plan to visit more hospitals!!! I want to get the surgery soon
