I’m currently approaching 4 months, and at the point past 3 months, the major swelling went down a lot. The candy-like swelling also went down a lot. I went for my 3-month follow-up and checked the CT, and the bones had fused well. I was a little worried because I started sleeping face down from around 2 months. I think advancing the chin tip was really a good choice. They advanced it just the right amount. Now I’m eating well without avoiding any foods. I can bite into a hamburger too, but my mouth still doesn’t open as much as before surgery, so they told me to keep practicing. Now there’s no pain or discomfort to the point that I forget I had surgery. They said more swelling will still go down, so I’m looking forward to it.
The problem is that I keep noticing other areas
I’ll bring another review after 6 months.
