Eye surgery consultation visits review

1. ㅈㅇㅌ

The consultant came in, I briefly told her what style I wanted, and then I saw the director.

The director was kind and pointed out only the surgeries I really needed. He also drew things like the double eyelid structure on paper and explained why this would not work and why that would not work. He seemed like he had just come from surgery, but he still consulted calmly and at ease.

I said I wanted something natural, and he really set an inline crease at a height that was not excessive. He said an in-out line and a semi-out line would not work because of the strength? at the inner corner of my eyes.

I also asked whether I needed canthoplasty. For epicanthoplasty, he measured the distance between my eyes with a ruler and said the spacing was appropriate, so I didn’t need it. For lateral canthoplasty, he said there was no space, so it couldn’t be done

When you arrive, you fill out a chart and then take photos.

I was worried because I had seen mixed reviews about the consultant, but I felt she was extremely kind (maybe the person changed in the meantime). Looking at my photos, she talked about things like eyelid drooping and asked whether I was considering canthoplasty or incisional surgery. What confused me here was that ㅈㅇㅌ had said I didn’t need canthoplasty, I didn’t have much fat on my upper eyelids, and natural adhesion would also be possible, so I got confused.

The director looked really tired, maybe because he had just come from surgery. Maybe because of that, the consultation moved a bit quickly and smoothly (he did answer everything when I asked questions). Like the consultant said, I have some fat on my upper eyelids, so he recommended incisional surgery..... He said my eyes absolutely could not be done with non-incisional surgery. He also said my eyes were uneven, so I would need ptosis correction. I asked whether canthoplasty was needed, and when he said epicanthoplasty was possible, I thought this place really just lets you do all sorts of things, so I took it off my list.

I had seen reviews saying the price was expensive, and it really seems that way.

The staff and consultant were really, really, really kind..... They also took pre-consultation photos here O

The consultant first roughly checked the condition of my eyes, and I told her the procedure I was hoping for.

The director was not overly warm, but answered everything I asked. He carefully made several different lines for me. Among the three hospitals, this was the only one that did not use a toothpick, but used a bougie (is that right?) and something like an mm-measuring device to set the line, which I liked.

Here too, they said I had fat on my upper eyelids and would need incisional surgery, so in the end I gave up on natural adhesion haha.. For canthoplasty, they said the same thing as ㅈㅇㅌ (not needed), and they said my eye-opening strength was fine, so I didn’t need ptosis correction. Looking back, the consultation result came out exactly in the middle between ㅈㅇㅌ and ㅁㅂ.
