Hi everyone!! There are probably a lot of tiny things to worry about when getting surgery, like whether to stay overnight or just take a bus home alone or take a taxi home, and so on. I wanted to share my experience and thoughts the way others helped me too..!
First, there are quite a few people around me who had breast surgery... my roommate unni too, and the older women I work with as well. So it wasn't hard to get clinic recommendations, and with your recommendations added on top of that, I visited a bunch of places myself and eventually had the surgery at Glam.
It wasn't just the consultation, but... Glam's shape was exactly the breast shape I wanted, so I didn't feel like another clinic had anything that could beat it
I was thinking I might just go home after surgery, but I didn't want to bother my roommate unni, and I didn't think I'd be comfortable at home either, so I decided to stay overnight at a clinic with someone taking care of me. And the next day the director checked my progress, removed the bandages, and I was able to be discharged, which I think is great! If I hadn't stayed overnight, I would have had to go back 2 or 3 days later to remove the bandages I think it's good to consider that kind of thing when choosing.
Anyway, on the day of surgery, how was it? My condition was terrible to begin with. I had basically stayed up all night the day before I also had a slight cold, so I was sneezing like 100 times.. When I arrived at the hospital that day, I signed the consent forms, had an ultrasound, and finally reviewed the cc and design one last time with the director before anesthesia and passing out.. -> I think there are probably a lot of people worried because they couldn't properly ask for the cc and design during consultation, but the director checks once more at the end, so if there's anything else you want to add, I think you can say it on the day of surgery!
I had general anesthesia, and my throat hurt and things like that, but I didn't really feel nauseous or anything.. Once the fasting time was over, I drank an electrolyte drink and felt better! I wasn't in much pain or anything this day, and it wasn't especially hard either, but the bandage felt suffocating, and that was the hardest part..
And there was Netflix in the inpatient room, so I binge-watched Goblin on Netflix, ate the porridge they gave at the hospital, and slept. I had breakfast the next morning and was discharged.
I go in once at 1 week, once at 2 weeks, and once at 1 month, and every time the director personally checks my progress and tells me how the shape is developing, so I feel reassured and happy And the manager also looks at the shape with me and gives feedback, so it really feels like I'm being taken care of. It feels like every staff member is focused only on my breasts I even end up wearing tight clothes on purpose when I go (an unintended body-line flex time)
The scar and tissue quality are still in progress, but I didn't have much to begin with so I'm just waiting... I figure it will loosen up someday Same with other cosmetic surgery, and same with breast surgery too.. if you get too impatient, I think you'll just end up mentally wrecked and ruin everything. I'm going to be patient and wait. Later, when enough time has passed and the shape has fully settled, I'll take photos and post them too!!
