I had it done at a plastic surgery clinic, and after the first month, eating became easier and the swelling went down noticeably faster. Even though I walked diligently, I was worried about my cheeks looking like I had candy in my mouth, but that’s almost all gone now too. Every time I took photos, my face came out broad and flat, and my cheekbones really made me angry, but now it’s a completely different face lol The doctor said there can be minor residual swelling for up to 1 year, so I’m at maximum excitement because I think my face will get even slimmer from here. The incision sites are tucked away in places other people can’t see, so I’m not worried about scars! I feel at ease now.
