I had nose surgery 9 years ago using only nasal tip cartilage with a closed approach, and the cartilage has also come loose, so it dangles at the nasal tip… My nose is also a bit crookedㅜㅜ What I wanted was to fix all those side effects, raise the nose slightly if possible, and I also went around saying I wanted nasolabial angle correction (raising the philtrum?)
1. A large hospital I went to because my mom told me to. Everyone was kind, and they were the only place that recommended osteotomy. They said raising it with silicone and ear cartilage would be enough.
3. ㅈㅅㅌ(ㄱㄱㅎ) They gave the most detailed consultation, and while looking at the CT, they told me that my nasal bone had been broken before (I didn’t know). They said correction would be possible using silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. They also gave a good shape consultation and recommended nasolabial angle correction.

4. ㅂㄹㅋ The director looked very professional. But they said I needed nasal valve? correction, which no other place had mentioned, so I put it on hold for now.. And after looking at the CT, they said my nasolabial angle had probably already been used (I checked with other places afterward, and they all said it wasn’t certainㅜ). So they recommended costal cartilage + no implant.
5. ㅇㅂㅅ (ㅅㅅㅈ) First, I liked that they let me ask everything I was curious about during the consultation. This director said that whether I have nasolabial angle tissue or not, it itself is extremely thin, so it would probably be difficult to use as surgical material. Donor costal cartilage + no implant + cartilage tying + dermis.. The consultation was so good that I almost decided, but what bothered me was that they have CCTV but it can’t be disclosed.. That bothered me a bit, so in the end I decided to visit more clinics…. ㅠㅠ
6. ㅁㅎ First of all, the consultation was delayed by an hour… They said the doctor had gone into a difficult surgery. And during the consultation, the doctor looked tired.. Still, they answered everything I was curious about. They said many of the same things as clinic 5 (the nasolabial angle is weak, things like that..), so I trusted both 5 and 6. Donor costal cartilage + no implant + dermis. But this director said that because I have a droopy/long-looking nasal tip, my nostrils could become more visible (I really hate that ㅠㅠㅠㅠ). They said doing nasolabial angle correction together could actually make it worse…
7. ㅈㅅㅌ (ㅊㅎㄱ) - A different place from 3 Um, they suggested the most unusual? surgical method. They said it could be done with ear cartilage and the nasolabial angle. But first, taking the CT cost as much as 50,000 won.. Everywhere else was 10,000 wonㅜ And they were a little perfunctory in the consultation about the functional nose part, so I’m somewhat passing on it
