My eyes were completely small monolids, so as soon as I turned 20, I started looking around everywhere to get double eyelid surgery, and my mom saw the results of people around us and we literally decided! For the first year, the swelling never fully went down, so my eyes looked like sausage eyes and I thought my double eyelid surgery had failed, but after another year passed, they now feel completely like my own eyes!!
