Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> There aren’t many reviews for endoscopic forehead lifts. I also had a hard time finding information before surgeryㅠㅠ So I’m leaving a review for everyone who is still considering surgery~
It has been 2 weeks since surgery. There wasn’t anything particularly special in week 2, but week 1 was quite dynamic. So I’ll share the things I wrote down in the early part of week 1! On the day of surgery, it hurt less than I expected and the swelling wasn’t very severe, so I was surprised. The next day, there was still no swelling, but my head hurt a bitㅠㅠ I wasn’t nauseous, but my head felt like I had body aches? So I took painkillers. On day 3, the surgical area on my scalp felt itchy. It wasn’t the surface that was itchy, but the inside.. I still didn’t know whether the surgical area had healed, and I felt like I shouldn’t scratch it, so I just endured it. This really is a private battle that other people don’t know aboutㅠㅠ Was it yesterday? People also commented on the surgery recovery room post I left. Maybe they’re going through a similar course to what I’m writing now.. Having an itchy feeling didn’t mean the headache went away, so I kept taking painkillers until day 3. After about 4 days, the headache completely disappeared, and only a tingling sensation remained. And something like slight bruising came down around the eyes, making my complexion look hollow? It wasn’t to the point that I couldn’t go outside! Days 5-6 passed without much difference from before.
<Overall feeling summary>
1. During surgery, they shaved the hair at the surgical area. Because of that, until the hair grows back, my forehead looked bigger and wider than before surgery. They didn’t shave a lot of hair, but maybe because it was the forehead, a 1 cm difference felt big.
2. Sensation is gradually returning, but the right side still hasn’t fully come back, so it aches occasionally. When I’m paying a lot of attention to something, the aching feeling is especially strongㅠㅠ
3. I didn’t swell much, but the swelling went down at different speeds on each side, so my eyes looked uneven, which bothered me. Now the balance is still much better than back then!!
The doctor said that for about two months after surgery, I shouldn’t press hard on my forehead or apply pressure to it.. So I’m extremely careful when touching my face. Still, opening my eyes feels lighter than before, and I like that my double eyelid line shows well~
