I went for consultations because I wanted to get under-eye fat repositioning. Since it was my first time, honestly I just roughly looked through an app and went, but I’ll write down what I felt for now. I’m still thinking about it too.
1. ㄹㅇㄹ Director ㅇㅎㅇ The clinic facilities looked nice. After consulting with the consultant, I had a consultation with the director. Then the consultant told me the price and schedule.
The consultant said she thought they might recommend these things after looking at me first, but that it was her own opinion, and that it could be different once I consulted with the director.
The director showed me a PPT and before-and-after photos and recommended repositioning and fat grafting. They said their micro-fat grafting uses a method only they do there. It was along the lines of making the fat more like fresh fat? like particles, so the engraftment is better.
My skin is thin, so the muscle and blood vessels all show through, so I was recommended fat grafting plus Rejuran. When I said I wanted to think about it more, they told me to do that for now and said we could consult again before surgery.
I went after applying for an event, but that price was only if I did exactly that procedure, and VAT is added too, and if I include the recommended surgeries, it goes up more.
For now, the director seemed confident. When I asked about the possibility of recurrence, they said it usually lasts about 10 years, but it depends on one’s own aging.
Honestly, at first it did feel a bit like a standardized consultation? But thinking it over, it also seems like they gave opinions tailored to my eyes.
Free AS available for 1 year, and they said they do follow-up observation one month after surgery.
2. ㅅㅅㄴ Director ㅇㅇㄱ It felt a bit smaller than no. 1. The consultant was calm and carefully looked at me first. It felt like she understood my problems? better.
But the lighting color was too warm, so should I say it was hard to see clearly in the mirror?
The director seemed gentle and calm, and likewise explained while showing a PPT and before-and-after photos. After the explanation, they answered the questions I asked well.
The consultant had recommended fat grafting to me too, and the director first said it seemed like repositioning alone might be enough, but both of them had the same point that my eyes were a bit ambiguous. After looking more closely, the director said that because the muscle and blood vessels show through and I have Indian folds, fat grafting would probably be better too.
When I asked about recurrence, they seemed to have a calm confidence, saying that if the surgery is done well, recurrence should not happen.
They said if I come one week after surgery, they’ll do a swelling laser for free, remove the fat grafting stitches, and after two months they’ll do follow-up observation to see whether to graft a second round of frozen fresh fat.
The cost is higher than no. 1. I went thinking it was an event, but that only applied to fat removal.
I’m still thinking about it for weeks too.. Since I live far away, it’s hard to look into more places.. I also feel like both are promoted too heavily on the app.... I’m seriously torn
