Before<preoperative photo>After<postoperative photo>I had surgery! It’s already been a month since the surgery. I had surgery when it was hot, so I kept the air conditioner blasting at home, and whenever I had to go somewhere, I only traveled by car ㅋㅋㅋ Today I got off work early, so I had some time left before dinner, and I’m going to write about my long-postponed escape from my complex about my angular, broad face shape!!! Before surgery, my facial bones were broad but my body was skinny, so my friends and even my boyfriend teased me by calling me a Chupa Chups ㅠㅠ If I cut my hair short, they teased me saying I looked like a boy, and if I tied my hair tightly, they said I looked like a Malgal tribe chief... ㅠㅠㅠ Every day I looked around YouTube, plastic surgery apps, and surgery communities, searching only for facial contouring surgery, and in the end, with the mindset of “let’s just do it while I’m even one year younger!!” ㅋㅋㅋ I did a lot of online and in-person research and booked at a well-known place I found through word of mouth~ When I went for the consultation, I saw the director kindly greeting patients as he came to work, and I trusted him completely!!! I had a lot of interest in plastic surgery, but since I’m not a professional, there were places where the consultation felt difficult to understand, but the place where I booked the surgery pointed out the problems and explained in detail and in an easy way which parts I needed to improve, so I really, really liked it~ Just like the director and people in the community said, I was honestly pretty severely swollen until day 5, but after that day passed and it became day 7, as the swelling gradually went down, the lines started to show ㅠㅠㅠ I was so moved then ㅠㅠ I had worried a lot that I might end up with a common, factory-made impression, but I think they shaped the lines beautifully to suit me ㅎㅎㅎ He even sent a witty KakaoTalk message saying, “We reduced your cheekbones as much as possible^^” ㅋㅋㅋ Seriously, god-tier surgeon father.. On day 14, I went to the hospital to check my progress, met the director, and took another CT scan to look at it, and we confirmed that the bones seemed to be healing well with no issues, and compared before and after too. Seriously, wow, the cheekbones themselves changed as a whole.. Because of the swelling, I didn’t realize it would be this much, but ㅋㅋㅋ seeing it on the CT made it even more amazing. My face shape looked exactly like a neat model you’d see in a science lab.. I even wondered, “Are these really my facial bones..?” ㅠㅠㅠ It made me realize all over again that medicine in Korea has advanced this much, and that the director wasn’t proud for no reason ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I couldn’t take a long break from work, so I started going to work from week 2, and when I just told the staff that I’d had my wisdom teeth removed, everyone believed it, so it feels like there’s no difficulty at all with daily life! Oh, and they said that after facial contouring surgery, you lose weight because you can’t eat well, but from around week 2, eating became comfortable pretty quickly for me, so my appetite improved and I started gaining a bit of weight. So, both to reduce swelling and for dieting, I walked a lot, and that sped up the swelling going down and I lost some weight too~ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ At first, I kept wondering when the swelling would go down, and it felt like time was passing slowly, but once some of the swelling went down, it feels like time is flying by like a bullet~ The result is good, and the director and staff are all so kind, so every time I go to the hospital for progress checks or aftercare, I feel happy and excited~ I don’t know if I’m excited because I got off work early, or because writing this review makes me think the surgery went well, but before I knew it, this post got really long ㅋㅋㅋ There are more touching stories, but I think it’ll get boring to read, so I’ll end it here! ㅎㅎ When the swelling goes down even more next time, I’ll come brag again~ Then, bye for now♥
