First, how I found out about this place was through a recommendation from an acquaintance. That acquaintance had revision surgery and it seemed to turn out well, so I went once too. The consultation fee was 20,000 won and the CT fee was 30,000 won. But I was there during a free CT event, so the total consultation cost was only 20,000 won.
Wait: I arrived at my reserved time, but the consultant said the director's surgery hadn't finished yet, so I would have to wait, and she didn't know how long the wait would be. She said it could take even 1-2 hours, so I got really angry for a moment I'm from northern Gyeonggi, so it takes a lot of time to go back and forth, and I wondered if I had come for nothing... Still, I asked whether I could get the consultation if I waited, and she said she'd go ask the director. Ha, but that waiting time was really nerve-racking... and I felt really bad Thankfully, she said it seemed like he would finish a bit early, so it should be possible, so I said okay, got the CT, and talked with the consultant.
Consultant: I felt she was kind. After taking the CT, I talked about the shape I wanted. Since my skin is on the thin side, the skin over my nasal bridge is thin too, so she said it would probably be better not to use silicone, and that they might use postauricular dermis only around the glabella area.
Director: Maybe because he had just finished surgery, he looked a bit tired. His overall way of speaking was also a little chic, and not exactly warmly friendly. First, he explained the characteristics of my face, such as asymmetry, and also explained the surgical method. He said my nose doesn't need silicone; he would shave the hump, do all 3 types of rhinitis surgery, and use my septal cartilage and ear cartilage as materials to lift the nasal tip. I do think he would make the design to my liking, but somehow..... I didn't really get the feeling that he was trying to fully understand my needs and tailor it to me? Oh, and this Director Park Sung-wan apparently starts at 4.4 million won... I guess the base price is set according to the directors' experience or careers.. (He said a total of 5 people operate in teams of 2.)
They have CCTV, but you can't watch it in real time, and they don't have things like 1 year of free aftercare/service.
Lastly, the price was higher than I expected. Assuming I get 80% of the functional nose surgery reimbursed through actual-expense insurance, the event price came out to 4.64 million won. But I haven't gone around to other places yet, so I can't compare prices My friends say this place seems on the expensive side.. I don't know.. I've made reservations for 5 more places next week and the week after: ㅁㅎ, ㅂㄷㄴ, ㅂ, ㅇㅂㅋ, ㅂㅅㅌ (formerly ㅇㅅㅈ), so I should go check them out.. If there are other decent places, please recommend them
