I regularly get lifting treatments because cheek fat is my complex, so I’m sharing information. For those who don’t have cheek fat, please only refer to the lifting parts of what I wrote. Pain and swelling vary by individual, so please read with that in mind too.
InMode FX: Pain O, heat sensation O, swelling varies by person. I’m on the side of not having it. Rather than swelling, bruising can occur, so I don’t recommend it before an important event for people with thin skin. InMode FX is a lifting treatment that reduces fat, and it has that hot, electric-shock feeling.. It hurt every time I got it. After getting it consistently, maybe I adapted a bit, so it got better, but I can’t say it’s a painless lifting treatment.. Instead, after receiving it more than 3 times, the effect is enough that people often say, “Oh, did you lose weight?” Since it has to be done at intervals of at least 4 weeks, I recommend getting it three times at 4-5 week intervals at first, and if you’re satisfied, once every 5 weeks.
InMode Forma: Pain X, heat sensation O, swelling X I tried it a few times when it was offered together with InMode FX in promotions. It’s a comfortable lifting treatment where they rub the face with a warm roller(?), so relaxing that it makes you sleepy. I wish all lifting treatments were this comfortable and painless.. But the doubt here is, if it doesn’t hurt, will it be effective..? It has no effect on reducing cheek fat and only works for lifting, so I think it would be a good lifting treatment for people without cheek fat. I get it occasionally hoping for a lifting effect, thinking it’s probably better than not doing it.
TuneLiner: Pain X, heat sensation O, swelling X This is the treatment I switched to after InMode was painful for a while and TuneLiner was recommended to me. The machine itself makes a buzzing noise, but after receiving it three times, I did feel that my facial contour looked more refined. If InMode feels like some facial fat is reduced, TuneLiner feels like a slight fat reduction plus facial contour refinement? I recommend TuneLiner for people who find InMode too painful. Right after it, some redness comes up briefly because of the heat sensation.
Shurink Universe: Pain O, heat sensation X, swelling O Pain on a different level from InMode... I’d rather get InMode than Shurink. Since Shurink has become cheaper than before, I got it for lifting, but every time it passes over my teeth, jawbone, and cheekbones, I really hate that pain. Right after receiving it, it feels tightly lifted, but since it has to be done regularly.. I just can’t bear that pain. It varies by person, so I recommend it to people who want a tight lifting effect..
The treatment I received from a single-doctor clinic was TuneLiner, and the rest were at factory-style clinics. The advantages of a single-doctor clinic are that the doctor consults directly and is really meticulous. Since it is by appointment, there isn’t much waiting time, and I think it was best when getting things like Botox. At the factory-style clinic, they just roughly gave the injection and it was over.. The price isn’t very different from factory-style clinics either, and I tend to go to single-doctor clinics for procedures that need detail. The downside is that because it is a single-doctor clinic, the treatment devices are not very diverse. So for other procedures, I inevitably go to factory-style clinics.
The advantages of factory-style clinics are that they often have events, so the prices are cheap.. (probably because it’s a high-volume, low-margin model..?) and it’s good that they have a variety of machines. But when getting treated, the reason it feels like I came to an animal hospital rather than being treated like a person is because the doctors are tired and busy.. I think it can’t be helped. Since the doctors are random, if you meet a meticulous doctor from time to time, it would be good to request them!
I hope my post was helpful.
