<When lying on my side~~><It’s a transaxillary incision scar, but it looks like a wrinkle~>It’s already been over a year since my revision surgery~~ I recently had some free time, so I thought it would be good to post my review too, and I’m finally writing one
I had my first surgery through a transaxillary incision, and the revision was done through the same area too. I’m posting it without covering it up in hopes it helps those getting transaxillary incisions~ Since it was incised twice, you can see the scar if you look closely, but maybe because I naturally have a lot of armpit creases, it barely stands out (at least to my eyes.. lol) Since it was a revision, I managed it more carefully. Just applying ointment every day and consistently receiving aftercare was enough~ For those getting revision surgery.. unless you have keloids, you don’t need to worry too much..
For the first month or two after surgery, I only wore nipple patches and went around without a bra This hospital doesn’t use a compression band, so I didn’t use one for either my first surgery or revision, but I didn’t have bottoming-out or anything like that~~ I didn’t get revision surgery because of side effects or dissatisfaction. I was anxious about Bellagel, so I just replaced the implants… I simply had the revision done at the same place as my first surgery. For those getting their first surgery, I think you’ll have fewer regrets if you do as much research and visit as many clinics as possible~ I also really did a lot of legwork for my first surgery
For reference, you do need to take your original breast characteristics into account. Surgery can improve things to some extent, but it won’t change them 100% dramatically Just like your naturally born breast pocket size or breast position doesn’t change
What I’m really satisfied with after getting it done is that my biggest purpose, first and foremost, was replacing the implants because I felt anxious about Bellagel, and I didn’t have any major complaints. But the director checked even the subtle details I didn’t know about, so I could see that my breasts improved much more compared with after my first surgery, which made me even happier (shape, feel, and size all included) Sometimes when I looked at reviews elsewhere, there were a lot of Motiva cases, so I had wondered beforehand whether I should go with that, but I liked that they recommended what suited my body type and gave me Sebbin as an option.. I’ve never really written a proper review before, so the content may be a bit disorganized, but there don’t seem to be many revision surgery reviews, so I gathered my courage to write this. Please look kindly on it
It seems like many people get revision surgery because of capsular contracture, but in my case it was more like implant replacement with size and shape correction, so it wasn’t an extremely difficult surgery. Still, after going through revision surgery, I learned how to choose a good hospital, so I’ll leave that here too!!! There are a lot of brokers too, so at first I found it hard to know what to look for and how to distinguish things, but after going through it twice, I think checking just these points already gets you halfway there
1. An anesthesiology specialist on-site I’ve seen some cases done under sedation anesthesia, but as far as I know, general anesthesia is the safest for breast surgery, so most cases are done under general anesthesia. I heard anesthesia accidents are all from sedation anesthesia Also, check whether an anesthesiologist is on-site, and filter out places that don’t have one; There are sometimes cases of apnea, so it’s important that a specialist checks your condition
2. The director’s experience Based on my experience, I recommend consulting with a director who has at least 10 years of experience Sometimes, when their experience is short, there are places that don’t really do more difficult surgeries like lifts or revision surgeries If that’s the case, it’s at least conscientious, but there are also cases where it isn’t, so I think it’s better to exclude places with less than 10 years of experience!!! From my actual experience, even just during consultations, directors with a lot of surgical experience explained things differently~~~ There also seemed to be cases where they recommend a method as if “these days, almost everyone does surgery this way,” when in reality they can’t do something because their skill isn’t enough. Anyway.. especially for revision surgery, it’s important to check experience based on the director
3. CCTV Everyone checks a lot whether there is CCTV, but the place where I had surgery didn’t have CCTV. Instead, if you request it, they film the surgery separately When I asked if installing CCTV wouldn’t be better since they’re filming it anyway, they said they do a lot of surgeries for celebrities, so if footage leaks, that would be an even bigger problem Any hospital manages security, but honestly, if something leaks, there’s no real solution (there was also a CCTV leak incident at a large plastic surgery clinic a few years ago). I did ask them to film it, but when I actually watched it, it was gross, so it was hard to watch until the end
4. Ultrasound examination After breast surgery, it’s so important to get regular ultrasound examinations No matter how well the surgery went, since implants are involved, something can go wrong in the body at any time!!! Most importantly, even if capsular contracture or rupture occurs, it doesn’t always come with pain, so many people apparently pass over it without knowing That’s why it’s important to get breast examinations every year, and if possible, it’s also important to check whether the hospital provides consistent follow-up checkups after surgery Here, they provide a free breast checkup at 1 year after surgery, and after that they provide yearly checkups at a lower price than other hospitals Also, since they have previous records of my breast condition, it’s best to receive breast checkups consistently at one hospital Ultrasound is essential, and it’s good to also get a mammogram in addition! If you’ve had breast surgery, please absolutely make sure to get examinations!!! Honestly, this may seem so basic that you might wonder why I’m saying it, but there are many hospitals that can’t even do the basics There are also cases where they’re kind during consultation and then act like they don’t know anything afterward~~~
So for revision surgery, I really thought it should at least meet this level, filtered places out, and chose from there. I haven’t had any complaints so far, so I think it was a good choice. When I had an examination a few months ago, there were no problems either :)!
